Tulip Quick Bites with spicy avocado and black beans

Ingredients

  • 125 g Tulip Quick Bites
  • 4 tbsp cooked black beans
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 25 g freshly grated ginger
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 red onion (small)
  • 1 red chili pepper (small)
  • 1 lemon (organic)
  • 4 stalks fresh oregano
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the beans, soy sauce and freshly grated ginger in a bowl and set aside to marinate.
  2. Drain the Tulip Quick Bites and fry them in oil in a frying pan for 4-5 minutes until golden.
  3. Split the avocado, remove the pit and peel carefully.
  4. Place on a cutting board and thinly slice so the slices can form a fan.
  5. Mince the red onion and chili pepper.
  6. Place the fans on two plates and season with red onion, chili, grated lemon zest and lemon juice, as well as salt and freshly ground pepper.
  7. Evenly distribute the beans and the Tulip Quick Bites on the avocados and serve right away.
