Fried Tulip Quick Bites with scrambled eggs and baked tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 125 g Tulip Quick Bites
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 slices bread
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Break the eggs into a bowl, whisk and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Thickly slice the tomatoes and toss them with crushed garlic, a little oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake the tomatoes in a preheated oven for 12 minutes at 200°C / 390°F.
  4. Drain the Tulip Quick Bites and fry them in oil in a frying pan for 4-5 minutes until golden. Keep warm in the oven until serving.
  5. Scramble the egg mixture in a hot pan in a little oil and stir thoroughly.
  6. Toast the bread and cut it in halves.
  7. Create a serving of hot scrambled eggs with Tulip Quick Bites, tomatoes and toast. Sprinkle with fresh thyme (optional). Serve right away.
